About the Role
We’re looking for fullstack engineers to build systems that handling millions of equipment records, real-time data processing, and APIs that fuel our development.
Tex is building software that helps people run real businesses. Not another abstraction to sell to other software companies.
Your work ships to customers who actually need it. This is a high-leverage role.
What You’ll Do
- Build core product surfaces that power Tex Intel, from ingestion tools to workflow modules.
- Collaborate to turn customer demand, datasets, and field insights into fast product iterations that drive revenue and adoption
- Optimize database performance for millions of equipment records
- Work with real-time data pipelines processing federal and state filings
What We’re Looking For
- 3-8 years of experience
- Strong understanding of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
- Experience building RESTful APIs (Node.js, Python, Rust, or Go preferred)
- Understanding of distributed systems and data processing
- Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving team
- Has strong technical opinions and can defend them
Nice to Have
- Experience with real-time data processing
- Knowledge of heavy equipment or industrial markets
- Prior work at early-stage companies
- Quality open-source contributions
